SEG7 is a Chrome extension that replaces your browser's New Tab page with a full-screen digital clock. This policy covers two separate things: the extension itself, and this website.

The Chrome extension

The extension does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. No analytics, no tracking, no third-party services of any kind run inside it.

Everything the extension needs (fonts, assets, and code) is bundled locally inside the extension package. Nothing is fetched from the internet after installation.

No account is required to use SEG7. We have no servers, no databases, and no way to identify you.

Your preferences (theme and time format) are stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage API. This data never leaves your device.

This website

This landing page (seg7.xyz), separately from the extension, uses Google Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they view. This helps us understand interest in SEG7. It does not affect the extension in any way: installing SEG7 sends no data anywhere, regardless of whether you've visited this site.
